Jim graduated from East Fairmont High School and then attended Fairmont State College. He spent 7 years in the banking industry and graduated from the WV School of Banking. He joined Equitable Advisors in 1990 and received his Retirement Planning Specialist Certification from the Wharton School, Retirement Plan Consultant from Equitable (RPCS), Qualified Plan Specialist from Equitable (QPS), and the industry-recognized Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF). Jim and his wife, Sabrina, live in Fairmont. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of South Fairmont, VP of Finance for the MAC Boy Scouts of America, Finance Chair for the United Way, and Treasurer for Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont.
